1. Doremon
Doraemon is a blue robotic cat from the 22nd century, who estimates 129.zg (285.05lbs) and hight at 129.3cm (4'3") tall. He was made on 14 July in the year 2112, having the code MS-903, at the Matsushita Robot Factory. Doraemon is regarded as a substandard result compared to other models because various of his robotic features (ie. radar whiskers and cat-calling V.ll) failed after production.
During his Doremon Cartoon production, he got struck by a thunderbolt and lost an important bolt that was part of his brain, thus changing his performance in both his education and towards the community. His favorite food is Dorayaki. Doraemon's original color was yellow. His color turned after getting his ears bitten off by a robot mouse. This made him produce a fear of mice.
2. Nobita Nobi
Nobita Nobi (born on 7 August, Leo) is a fifth-grader, the only child of his parents, and the co-hero. He wears glasses, a red or yellow polo shirt with a white neckband, and blue or black shorts. Nobita is normally foolish, uncoordinated, slow, weak, fragile, childish, and poor at sports. He hates books and holds basic scientific information, being incapable to understand concepts such as the meaning of an eclipse.
He desires Dekisugi, who is good at everything and appreciated by Shizuka. He often takes any chance to get a nap and likes gadgets that give him an extra time or do work for him, and is thus known as 'The Lazy King'. Whenever he occupies Doraemon's gadgets, he displays them off to Shizuka but not to Suneo and Gian.
3. Shizuka Chan
Shizuka Minamoto (born on 8 May, Taurus), nicknamed Shizuka-chan is a smart, sweet, and beautiful girl. She is Nobita's most loyal friend and he has a crush on her. She does not ignore Nobita due to his weak grades, lazy mood, or regular failures. In fact, she usually tries to support him to do great, though she usually fails to change him. Shizuka loves to take a bath several times a day, but, a working gag in the series is that she is sometimes obstructed by the sudden arrival of Nobita, Gian, or Suneo, normally due to misuse of Doraemon's gadgets like the Anywhere Door (the scene ends with Shizuka screaming, "Go away!" to them).
Her true feelings are sweet potatoes, which she would rather keep to herself out of the knowledge of others, and the violin, in which her acting is even more terrifying than Gian's singing. She is also known for getting piano lessons involuntarily due to her mother's wishes which is sometimes a reason for refusing to hang out with friends. Shizuka is a pet lover and keeps two pets at home, a dog, who is saved from death to illness by Nobita and Doraemon in one story, and a canary that runs away on various events and causing Shizuka and Nobita to run almost the city hunting her down.
4. Takeshi Goda "Gian"
Takeshi Goda (born on 15 June, Gemini), usually known by the nickname "Gian", is a strong and quick-tempered local rascal. He also often steals other children's material (especially Suneo's) under the affection of "borrowing" them, unless the toy is broken. He is known for his terrible singing voice, though he admits himself a great singer. To prove this, Gian sometimes "invites" others to visit his concerts, under the warning of beatings. His singing is so terrible that, once, Nobita and Doraemon try to silence it in a silent world, his writings of the song lyrics in a board end up producing the same effect as when they hear them.
In some films, his singing has become an effective weapon (as in 'Nobita's Great Adventure in the South Seas'). In some episodes when his voice is filmed and he hears it, he instantly rejects it being his voice and bullies to beat up the person who composed his songs in a very bad way. Gian is also positive in cooking, but just like his singing, his hand-made food can be a horror for other people very easily.Doremon Cartoon
5. Suneo Honekawa
Suneo Honekawa (born on 28 February, Pisces) is the fox-faced rich child who likes to display his material wealth before everyone, especially Nobita. A lot of the stories start with Suneo showing off some new video game, toy, or pet which excites Nobita's jealousy. He is usually seen with Gian, bothering Nobita. He sometimes dislikes Nobita and often makes fun of him, most often ending in Nobita getting into difficulty. He also often pushes Nobita out with stupid excuses while he invites Gian and Shizuka to his parties or hotels.
However, he is truly one of Nobita's closest friends, who would usually ask for his and Doraemon's help. In the films, Suneo is usually the one most hesitant to take part in Nobita and Doraemon's adventures, and he also tries to face as little difficulty as possible and move home, unless others turn him, making him somewhat a coward. He has great knowledge of science and is a skilled artist and designer. Doremon Cartoon
6. Dorami
Dorami(born on 2 December 2114, Sagittarius) is Doraemon's younger sister. Who' s nickname is Doreme. Like Doraemon, before he began a fear of mice, she is yellow-skinned and has ears that match a large red bow. She and Doraemon are siblings due to the fact that they gave half of the oil from a can. Dorami lives in 22nd-century Tokyo with Sewashi. She sometimes attends Nobita with a time machine when Doraemon is "off-duty", to help Doraemon with something or to take care of Nobita when Doraemon has gone for his annual health checkup.
Dorami likes melon pan and is afraid of cockroaches like Nobita's mom. She is also shown to be a more superior robot than Doraemon. Different from her malfunctioning brother, she is the most intelligent student during her school time and has better abilities in using gadgets. In a story, Nobita is determined on replacing Doraemon with Dorami due to her better skills, however, he soon learns the fact that Dorami does not recognize him as much as Doraemon does and will not allow his normal antics.
7. Tamako Nobi
Tamako Nobi (born on 16 February, Aquarius) is Nobita's stay-at-home mother and one of the main actors in short stories, She can be very strict where she is frequently seen taunting Nobita for his actions, beating him, grounding him, or sending him out of the house. Several episodes include Nobita trying to bypass his mother's scolding by using Doraemon's gadgets. Despite her disappointment with Nobita's lazy nature and academic failures, she is really a good mother and worries about her son deeply.
Her maiden last name is revealed to be Kataoka. She has a trend of stopping Nobita from going out to play and pushing him to study. However, on cold weather days, she always pushes Nobita to go out and play. Her worry about the high household costs is a recurring piece. In some of the episodes where Nobita sees her in the past, it is exposed that she was restless even as a girl. She has an absolute dislike of pets and would always refuse requests for any pet Nobita needs.
8. Nobisuke Nobi
Nobisuke (born on 12 March, Pisces), is Nobita's father and salaryman. He seems an easy-going father, regularly seen arriving home from work and to relieve Tamako's anger towards Nobita. He has difficulty stopping smoking and is self-conscious about his failure to pass the driving test. He also has a poor mind, He is an alcoholic and sometimes arrives home drunk from regular business meetings. Nobisuke oftentimes goes to golf which most Japanese businessmen and workers play.
He had many similar character qualities with Nobita when he was young like receiving bad marks, being poor at sports, and getting punished by his father. He has an extraordinary talent for painting but did not prefer to be an artist due to many purposes. Nobisuke is attached to Nobita and probably does not scold him like Tamako does because most of Nobita's failures and weaknesses recall him of his own childhood mistakes. Though he would make judgments or communications that affect Nobita considerably in one way or another.
9. Hidetoshi Dekisugi
Hidetoshi Dekisugi is Nobita's classmate and friendly opponent as he is a good friend of Shizuka. He is very intelligent and has a detailed memory. Dekisugi is an excellent all-round student, consistently getting 100s in class and also being highly talented in sports. His family is seemingly wealthy, having a house that is so large that one can forget one's way." Shizuka sometimes favors the fellowship of Dekisugi, who is also of her intelligent equal. Nobita often seems jealous and creates unusual projects (helped by Doraemon's gadgets) to keep them apart or to win Shizuka's consideration.
However, Dekisugi never gets mad at Nobita, and even cheerfully helps Nobita whenever he has scientific questions. Dekisugi is kind, respectful, and will never debate with anyone even in the most ridiculous of situations – rather he will always say something positive to change the mood. Doremon Cartoon
